East Veterans School

Welcome to East Veterans Elementary School

Here's a little bit about our school:  

At East Veterans, we educate approximately 440 students in grades kindergarten through fifth grade. There are four classrooms at each grade level.  Teachers in grades 1-5 departmentalize or platoon the math and literacy curriculum, where one teacher will teach the students at the grade level the ELA curriculum and the other teacher teaches the math curriculum. 

The mission of Gloucester Schools is for all our students to be successful, engaged, life-long learners.  We believe that all students can achieve excellence through effective teaching that is driven by clarity of purpose and student engagement.  As educators, our goal is to offer a well-rounded curriculum with high quality instruction that will give our students the skills they need to succeed.
